TRUST ISSUES
We have created a campaign to address the issues that are troubling the
citizens of Crystal City. The campaign is being done through a series of Trust Issues listed below.
These documents are being used as inserts in the local newspaper, The Leader, and are only being included in the Crystal City distribution of the paper. The intention is to give
the citizens of Crystal City the information that they need to make an informed decision for the April 8 elections.
In case you didn't know, citizens of Crystal City will finally have a chance to make a difference with a vote.
There are four council member seats up for election. The outcome could tilt the balance of votes to oppose the
smelter project. There is also an annexation on the ballot that, if passed, will facilitate a critical
southern access point to the proposed smelter facility.
All of these Trust Issues are supported by documented references. If you are a citizen of Crystal City, please
take the time to become familiar with these issues and use your vote on April 8th to choose the right future of Crystal City.
